Goa Economic Survey 2011-2012
Goa has impressive socio-economic indicators, some of which are comparable with many of the developed countries of the sub-continent. However in order to ensure sustainable and rapid growth which is also more inclusive, large investments would be required in the Twelfth Plan for the State to grow faster.

With the present state of the economic progress and achievement, the economy is evenly poised to leap forward into the new phase of economic prosperity. Having achieved that it will be one of the most developed and advanced states in the country.
