DOCUMENT CERTIFICATION

We endorse and attest Price Lists, Tender Documents, and Product Quality documents etc, of members required for International Trade. Processing Fee: Rs.100/- per document.

CERTIFICATE OF ORIGIN

By statutory arrangements with the Ministry of Commerce, Government of India, we issue non-preferential “Certificates of Origin” in respect of goods exported from India. These Certificates are accepted as authentic documents by the Embassies, Consulates, and Trade Commissions of various countries worldwide. You may download the forms shown below and the same can be submitted at the Chamber office in Panjim or Verna. Certificate of Origin (both required)

VISA FACILITATION

We assist in providing Letters of Recommendation for the issuance of visa are addressed to Embassies, High Commissions, Consulates, and Trade Commissions on request from our members intending to travel abroad for the promotion of business. Members have to submit a formal application on official company letterhead addressed to us requesting the issuance of Letter of Visa Recommendation. A processing Fee of Rs.100/- per letter will be charged. Sample application letter format is shown below.

INTRODUCTORY LETTERS

We issue Letters of Introduction to Chambers of Commerce worldwide, to assist members visiting those countries for business and commercial matters.

IN HOUSE LIBRARY

The Chamber has an in-house library containing large volumes of information received from other Indian states and foreign countries in the form of CDs, catalogs, reports, laws, gazettes, reference books, and publications on various subjects of interest to business and industry. Reference titles in the Chamber’s Libary cover the following categories: Export-Import, Central Excise, Customs, Finance, Income Tax Books, Company Law, Economy, Directories and Catalogs, Investment Guides.

TRADE INFORMATION

Chamber maintains record of all important statistics received from Government, including publications such as Foreign Trade Statistics of India, copies of weekly bulletin of Industrial Licences, Import and Export Licences and other publications.

A complimentary hard copy of the Chamber’s Monthly Bulletins, Annual Report.
A FREE copy of Trade and Commercial directory, which the Chamber periodically publishes.
Encourage participation in several important meetings, seminars, workshops of the Chamber.
Encourage participation in lecture-cum-discussion meetings on subjects of topical interest and other management development programs.
Encourage participation in meetings with visiting Consulate or Foreign embassy officials, Trade Commissioners, Ambassadors, and other dignitaries from abroad.
Creating and setting up contracts between several similar industrial units as well as Government and Commercial bodies at State and National levels.
Making representations on policy matters to Central and State (regional) Governments.
Providing sectoral projection of Industry groups in the media and press to focus on issues of important relevance.

CHAMBER PUBLICATIONS

From time-to-time, the Chamber releases publications as part of our services to the industry. Articles which are educative are also published in the monthly GCCI bulletin which is mailed to all members. New members get a FREE copy of the Trade and Commercial Directory.The following publications are available for sale.
